It is important to use heavy duty gate posts when installing a PVC gate.  We recommend filling gate posts with concrete and in some cases using a steel post inside of gate post along with  concrete for added stability when installing larger gates.

Step 1        Set gate post level
Step 2        Space gate posts approximately  2 - 3 inches larger then actual gate to allow for expansion and contraction during the hot and cold months.
Step 3        Fill gate post with concrete and steel pipe if required.
Step 4        Mount hardware onto gate.
Step 5        Line gate up to fence and screw hardware into gate posts.
Step 6        Level gate using adjustable hardware and adjustable wrench.
Step 7        Install latch
Step 8        Enjoy newly installed gate.

PVC Installation

Step 1    Choose your fence line
Step 2   Decide whether your fence will have to be stepped or racked or level.  This may be determined better with the use of a line level.
Step 3   Set first post and cement
Step 4   Mark all fence post holes.  Most PVC fences measure 8 foot from center of post to the center of the next post.
Step 5   Dig holes.  If using an auger please exercise caution and read manuel  before using.
Step 6   Install panel if pre assembled or install post with proper spacing if product is  un assembled.  (spacing is usually around 91 inches between posts.
Step 7   Cement post level against string line.  You may find it easier to set post 1 or     2 inches higher and hit it down to final height to minimize sinking posts.
Step 8   Continue until finished.
